Ship Ahoy in Clifton!

Well not quite but with spring around the corner we decided to get active and bring the seaside to Clifton. Taking our inspiration from Sandersons’ Vintage Collection their Sail Away fabric is described as ‘a whimsical scene of sailing boats gliding across the horizon’ and was inspired by a 1950s wallpaper. We decided it would look great in our window and we’ve combined it with cushions and their Seagull wallpaper.

We’ve just taken delivery of some amazing china, cushions and lampshades depicting aspects of Cornwall and lovingly made in Britain.

With the amazing sunny weather we’ve seen over the last few days we decided it was time to bring some colour to one of our windows and we’ve certainly done it with Designers Guild’s new collection Shanghai Garden Collection described as “the grandeur of nature as graceful painterly landscapes and gardens” Don’t worry if our window display is a bit too lively there are many fabulous fabrics and wallpapers in more muted colourways
